CONCEPT
Northbit is a young IT enterprise with three business locations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The founders, Rico Wiese and Sascha Schmidt, have been successfully engaged in the development and marketing of corporate software since 2002. At the end of 2007 they decided to combine and expand their activities by starting up a company together. Northbit GmbH was then established at the beginning of 2008.
In the meantime, Northbit has taken on seneral employees and collaborates with a number of regular freelancers. The focal point of our activities is the development of innovative software solutions to support and optimise business processes. Our customers include enterprises of all sizes, ranging from small manufacturing companies to major international concerns.
Our particular strength is the flexibility with which we adapt our software to suit various technical and organisational requirements. We create practical solutions which can be optimally integrated into our customers' existing infrastructures and which considerably facilitate day-to-day working.
The experience and knowlegde gained from such projects flow back into the development process and give rise to standard software components of great user value. An example of this is Java Formatting Objects or JFO for short: software for the conversion of print data which in now used by numerous companies around the world.
In addition to individual software development, we are also intensively engaged in the development of standard software and sector solutions. Here we offer comprehensive consultation services, take responsibility for marketing and carry out the installation and integration of hardware and software components.
In order to be able to offer our customers the best possible service, we enter into partnerships with the key companies.
An instance of how we consolidate our competence is our partnership with Microsoft.
Either way, our goal is to find the best possible solution for every need. To this end, we collaborate closely with our customers and where necessary we also cooperate with various technology partners.
